The Jay Page family knew exactly how to make his birthday special.
In keeping with tradition, Jay opened each present one at a time while seated with his friends and family. He opened a white rectangular box and looked inside.
Subsequent to perusing the hello card, Jay opened the bundle and found a fixed envelope inside.
Jay started to cry as soon as he took a piece of paper out of the envelope. He wept so loudly that no one could stop him from being cruel.
As a birthday present, Jay received completed adoption paperwork that only required his signature.
It meant the world to them that Jay and his partner were ready to submit them on Monday along with the mark.
Jay and Lisa went on their first date when they were just 21 years old. Lisa claims that Jay was initially « very intimidated » by the prospect of having Celissa when she was just two years old.
Despite this, Jay and Selissa’s uniqueness became abundantly clear over time.
A few years ago, the couple found out that Jay was unable to have children of his own. As a result, Lisa regards the friendship between Jay and Celissa as « a huge blessing. » Jay raised her in the same way he raised his own daughter, teaching her to drive, swim, and defend herself.
Over the past five years, Jay has frequently mentioned his desire to adopt her. He has, however, never had access to the opportunities or resources. When Celissa turned 18, he gave up on her.
