Katherine and a friend picked up a little kitten from the street one evening.
At least, that is what they believed until three months later, when the weird creature’s hue started to shift and his eyes started to get tougher.
In the streets of Hamilton, a tiny town in New Zealand, Katherine discovered the kitten.
She initially mistook him for a rat because he was such a small, defenseless ball of gray fur and hadn’t even opened his eyes.
She was required to care for the infant round-the-clock.
Bruce, the kitten, became stronger with time, standing on his paws and looking around the house with curiosity.
However, he displayed some peculiar behavior: his voice was far too deep for a little kitten. Bruce, too, began hunting mice in the kitchen early on.
« It was probably around the third month. I entered the kitchen to find a fully black cat sitting there. « Bruce has become a different color! » Katherine said to reporters.
According to the veterinarian, the mother cat was either stressed or given drugs that altered the kitten’s coat.
Other peculiarities in conduct were described by the specialist as a result of a lack of socializing. The kitten got to people extremely little and did not comprehend how to « be a cat ».
Katherine has already started a personal blog for the kitty. A million people have signed up for it, and everyone is waiting to see if the cat will change color again.
