Benny finished his work diligently and ate before leaving the shop. Jack was worried that Benny’s father would mistreat him, so he decided to take care of the boy.
Jack had his employees watch the store, got in his car and watched Benny from afar so the boy wouldn’t see him. After a few minutes, he saw Benny heading towards a deserted area with only old buildings.
Jack stopped when he saw Benny pull up to a dilapidated house. He expected Benny to come in, but he didn’t. Instead, the boy left his food in front of the house and drove off. When the gardener saw Benny, he waved and Benny came in.
Jack realized that Benny hadn’t taken his food. He had lied about his father beating him. He wanted to know the truth, so when Benny came to the store the next day, he confronted him. Benny also continues to help Jack at the store and asks him to give Harry food in return.
