It is nothing short of remarkable that Mary and Chris Jones-Elliot were able to successfully raise twins born 86 days apart and get their names into the Guinness Book of Records

Their happiness at expecting twins felt unlimited as they heard the news. The older sibling pair was also looking forward to their younger relatives’ arrival.

Before they were even born, their parents had chosen the names Amelia and Katie.

The babies were expected to arrive in September. Nonetheless, the initial plans have undergone significant revisions. Around the end of May, the first of Amelia’s twin sisters was born.

The child felt different even though she was born before her date of birth.

Katie was still visibly larger than her younger sister, the first twin, despite the latter’s weight gain. The media almost instantly started paying attention to these young ladies.

Because of their wildly different birthdays, Katie and Amelia are included together in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This family has an unusual custom of celebrating all of the birthdays twice a year. Amelia’s birthday party will be on Saturday, and Katie’s party will be on Sunday.

The years that have passed since their births have done little to lessen the intrigue that has always surrounded them.  It’s only reasonable that parents would be the only ones able to identify their own children.
