This puppy was sitting along the road on the outskirts of Arusha, in northern Tanzania (East Africa), and only miraculously the passing cars did not touch him.
The puppy has been lucky for a long time, but soon he would probably have fallen under the wheels of cars if the five small children hadn’t noticed.

Cuthbert, Karen, Prince and Kenny were returning from the local elementary school that day.
The parents of these children obviously weren’t rich, but the boys couldn’t get over the puppy, they took pity on him and took him with them.

The children came from a large family and when they brought the puppy home. The puppy was very thin and very hungry, he couldn’t live long on the street. The children called him Jack and did not want to leave him.

They decided to find a place where he could stay. Soon they were lucky, they discovered a boy named Mungaya, who helped homeless dogs and cats and who had several street dogs at home.

At the shelter, Jack met other young dogs living there, and the children who rescued the puppy from the street now often go to the shelter to play with him.
