Grandparents are among the closest and most cherished persons on earth for everyone of us.
Who else, but a grandmother, would care about what and how much you eat, inquire about your well-being, and show an interest in your academic, professional, and personal success?
Who else but a grandfather could demonstrate how to use a tool or provide a humorous personal anecdote based on his years of experience?
But we can all still clearly recall from our own childhoods that it is best to avoid upsetting our cherished grandparents. If not, it will be unlucky.
And the three men disregarded this fundamental guideline. They determined that they could easily rob the woman.
An unknown person approached from behind the woman as she typed the pin code to take money at the ATM.
She noticed him right away but did not become enraged. It finished with two additional males approaching her, knocking her to the ground, and the third withdrawing money from her account.
The criminals overestimated their chances of success and switched to an ATM. Winifred was able to rapidly jump to her feet and take serious action at this point, not wanting all of the wealth she had accumulated to go into the hands of malefactors.
She attacked from behind, grabbing one of the males by the collar and brought his head against the ATM.
The boys were obviously unprepared for such a reaction. As a result, the two survivors did not attack the old woman again, but fled in terror.
While their partner managed to free himself, the swift grandmother ensured that his face touched the ATM screen at least three more times.
Winifred immediately contacted the police and described everything in detail. The offenders were apprehended by the evening.
Because of the marks that the woman inflicted on one of the perpetrators, it was feasible to discover and prosecute them so fast.
None of the three entered a plea of guilty. As it turned out, the boys from the country came to the city to make some additional cash. However, honest work was not for them.
