Every orphan expects his parents to pick him up from the orphanage. The number of orphans in China is significant.
The primary reasons for this include the « one child per household » edict, poverty, and a preference not to have girls. As a result, girls outnumber boys in orphanages.
Dawson and Hannah were abandoned in an orphanage when they were just a few months old. They shared a deep bond despite the fact that they were not siblings.
The bond between them only became deeper over time. They are always united in the photo, smiling and holding hands.
Hanna was devastated to learn that she had been adopted by a US family and that she would never see Dawson again.

They are overjoyed! Dawson, three, got to know his family after getting off the plane. And it was then that he saw his dear pal was running towards him!
