A dolphin swam up from the darkness when divers with an experienced instructor were on a night dive.
He clearly chose the group’s leader, swam up to him at a depth, and pushed with his nose. The dolphin requested assistance in removing the fishing line.
One of the group’s members was filming everything that was going on.
Keller Laros, a diving instructor, was taken aback by what was going on. The dolphin appeared to offer to play, but acted poorly. The diver noticed a small fishing line caught in the fins when he looked attentively.
« As the dolphin moved, the line tightened more and more. He knew he couldn’t get out on his own, so he sailed to us, » Laros later explained.
Fortunately, the teacher brought an underwater knife with him, with a serrated blade developed specifically for cutting wire, fishing line, and fishing nets that a diver may find at deep.
Laros carefully cut and unraveled the thread for 8 minutes.
The dolphin had been calmly waiting the entire time. He once walked upstairs to get some fresh air before returning to the dives.

The dolphin swam alongside the divers for some time after the line was removed. He was definitely thanking everyone for their assistance.
