Lonnie, a 14-month-old boy, receives a pink pair of eyeglasses. I have three kids who all wear glasses, so I can relate to the joy the mother of this gorgeous young girl is feeling.
Lonnie first turns down her mother’s attempts to apply something to her face. She fusses and yanks the hands holding her mother’s spectacles away.
The spectacles are eventually placed on Lonnie’s lovely face by mum. Lonnie is suddenly astonished to see that she can clearly see her surroundings at this point.
Mom takes off Lonnie’s spectacles and puts them back on after cleaning a stain. Then, Lonnie realizes that the glasses are what are improving her vision.
Lonnie beams pleasure and surprise at her mother and her relatives.
