Rax’s human claims that because to an unintentional birth mishap, Rax has an ear.
It’s believed that the harsh play she received from her mother dog led to the need for emergency surgery to have her ear removed.
Her single ear moved to the top of her head as she developed as a result, leaving her with no other ears. She now resembles a unicorn dog!
At the Grand Rapids, Bang Armad was one of the staff members looking after Rax.
She knew she wanted to bring Rax home and raise her the instant she laid eyes on her.
Rax hasn’t slowed down at all because she can still hear in one ear, which is a blessing.
Despite the fact that she does not resemble a Golden, she is a Golden just like any other dog—very happy and active!
