May Etchenson, a beautiful Northern Irish native from County Antrim, once had the brilliant idea to knit a model of her own house.
Why not?
The woman started this curious project because she loves to knit.But that wasn’t the end of it.
May demonstrated the meticulously constructed house to her friends. She is a knitter in a group.
After that, the women made the decision to go on and knit the entire village of Clochmills together.
They gradually realized their unusual plan as they met every Wednesday.
The end result was a complete city plan with all the important things:the old shirt factory and flax mill, as well as the post office, pubs, and shops that the village grew around.
Additionally, there is a playground and cauliflower-planted garden plots.
Edgar Etchenson, Mrs. Etchenson’s husband, helped the enthusiasts raise money for tools and fabrics.The village model is made of knit fabric.
With only one thousand people living in the village, this exceptional piece of knitting art has already been seen by one and a half thousand people.
This masterpiece’s content creators want to raise £3,000 to give to a charity.
