The end result was a complete city plan with all the important things:the old shirt factory and flax mill, as well as the post office, pubs, and shops that the village grew around.

Edgar Etchenson, Mrs. Etchenson’s husband, helped the enthusiasts raise money for tools and fabrics.The village model is made of knit fabric.

With only one thousand people living in the village, this exceptional piece of knitting art has already been seen by one and a half thousand people.
