Because she lives alone, 79-year-old Gwendolyn Agard must have seemed like a straightforward target to a thief. Her home was broken into by a 20-year-old burglar who used a rubber mallet.
The old woman was terrified, but she kept her cool because she knew she had to move immediately. She also made certain the invader knew she meant business.
Before he even entered, she gave him a cursing verbal warning. She informed him that if he went inside her house, he would die.
