A woman cleaned a posh apartment in a New York skyscraper every day for 20 years.
Rosa, a cleaning lady, was made to move in with her sister after she lost her job. However, the other housemates pitched in and rented her a real penthouse.
Rosa was well-known to all of the home’s occupants; moving into such a luxurious apartment is unusual. As a result, word of the woman’s plight quickly spread among the neighbors. She had lost her primary job, was unable to pay the rent on her own, and had moved in with her sister on the extreme edge of the Bronx.
The occupants of the home started to consider ways to assist Rosa without upsetting her.
The tenants promptly came up with a plan, contributing money to rent a penthouse and assembling all the necessary paperwork and keys. The woman was invited as though it were just a regular cleaning; she was completely unaware of what lay in store for her.
After the tour, the man offered the woman a contract to sign and went through everything with her. The penthouse is entirely Rose’s to utilize for the following two years.
The locals caught her response on camera; the woman was visibly moved.
