Laura Brown has dedicated her entire life to providing care for and rehoming stray animals.
But because of her anxieties, she made the decision to stop helping while she was pregnant. She explained that the animals she sponsored were frequently ill and required specialized care, which she no longer had the time to provide.
Laura Brown made a decision, and she stuck to it. Up until the day she met Dove, a cat.
Laura claims that she and her husband once saw a wounded pregnant cat lying by the side of the road on their way home.
We were both in our final stages, so I could tell she wasn’t doing well. I also remember feeling a connection with her, says Laura. We got the cat by luring it with food scraps, and we took it to the veterinarian.
The cat was inspected by the vet, who then gave her the proper care. Laura brought the cat to her home after that, along with her husband. The cat was given the name Dove by the couple, and they started to care for it on their own. Dove soon adapted to her new surroundings.
The two expectant pals quickly started spending the most of their time together! Laura claims, she followed me wherever she went.She enjoyed eating breakfast with me outside in the yard while I stroked her belly in the morning.
