Our Earth will be saved and become a better place to live thanks to kindness. Even a simple act of compassion can save a life. An 11-year-old youngster went to save the creature after spotting it in need, putting his own life in danger.
This selfless deed demonstrates that you don’t have to be an adult to save lives or to be a hero.
As he was strolling down a street in Brazil, the sweet and sympathetic teenager Jean Fernandes—who was also a major animal lover—noticed a frightened and defenseless dog caught in the middle of the street, howling in agony.
Evidently, the dog was struck by a car, and while the drivers fled the scene immediately, paying no regard to the helpless animal, this young youngster hurried to save the animal.
Being a good-hearted young man, Jean couldn’t ignore the sobbing dog’s suffering, and by scurrying into the street to save it, he was able to stop oncoming traffic.
Rafael Martins filmed the touching scene, which he later posted online, showing the man snatching the helpless puppy into his arms and carrying him to safety. People were made aware of this boy’s kind deed thanks to this video. They conveyed their gratitude for Jean’s kind deed.
The name of the saved dog was Mel, which means honey. He was brought to the neighborhood homeless shelter, where he received the required medical attention and care.
Hopefully Mel will soon make a full recovery and find loving parents to help him enjoy the remainder of his life in safety and tranquility.
