Primrose was a girl who was born in China. Her eyes have the purity of silver. Congenital glaucoma, a rare disorder that can cause severe and irreversible visual loss, affected the little child. Immediately following the girl’s birth, her mother issued a denial on her behalf. So, a few years later, the girl was taken to the shelter.

Primrose dreamed of being adopted and brought up by someone. She was in search of someone who would accept her just the way she was. She waited, but nothing amazing happened!

Erin and Chris Austin, a married couple from the Georgian city of Braselton, had a happy family. What more could one need for happiness than their own house and two adorable kids? But one day as she was perusing her Facebook account, the woman unintentionally came upon a picture of Primrose.

The Austins decided they would adopt the young woman. A few months later, the adoption procedure was completed, and the family was given legal custody of the daughter. To be able to adopt the girl, the family had to go via the USA, Georgia, and China as well as through all nine levels of bureaucratic hell.
Fortunately, the procedure went well. It was amazing that she smiled for the first time in months two days following the surgery. Primrose will receive custom-made eye implants.

The fact that she comes from a loving and supporting family is crucial! We’re hoping they can get her better shortly.
