Anja would sometimes come across a picture of a recognized dog while browsing a shelter’s website in search of a dog to adopt for her two boys. She examined it carefully and was certain that it was her cat Killua, who had disappeared two years before.
She was shocked to find her beloved puppy there in front of her. When he was barely seven weeks old, Anja adopted him.
She gave him the name Killua. For over five years, the woman took care of Killua, but one day when she returned from work, she was unable to find her cherished dog at home.
Anja was disappointed since she had looked all around for her puppy but couldn’t find her.
Anja was unaware that her dog had been located after being missing for two weeks and had been taken to the neighborhood humane society.
After being adopted by a family for eight months, Killua had to be brought back to the shelter.
