Owls have always been regarded as fascinating creatures. These images were taken by 55-year-old Staffordshire native Leslie Arnott as part of a collaboration between Country Events and Falconry.
He was demonstrating to others how to take pictures of raptors in both still and moving positions.
The fanciful occurrence happened in the Warwickshire town of Lea Marston’s woodlands. Two owls were observed cuddling up to one another while sitting on a tree branch.
At first sight, they appeared to be a cute couple, but it turned out that they were related.
The owls got closer to one another and even started kissing when they noticed the camera and realized they were being photographed.
They showed their love while also taking some quite intriguing pictures that suddenly went viral online.
