Even though she had nothing to eat, the mother cat made sure her little ones were safe and well fed. Despite the harsh environment and the scarcity of food, the devoted mother kept all her offspring safe from her.
When Bob Hills, New South Wales, Australian organization CatRescue 901 learned of their situation, they immediately came to their aid.
The kitty used every means she could find to keep her puppies out of harm’s way and fed them even though she had no food for herself and was untreated in the area where they were.
The mother initially avoided her carer and only fed the babies when she was away from the room.
She lost her confidence as she had to struggle to survive on the streets of a neighborhood where the locals are not kind to the many stray cats. With lots of delicious food, support, and affection over time, the cat eventually grows closer. Jenny continued:

When the kittens arrived at the shelter, they were in poor condition. However, they gain weight and strength from free food.
It’s amazing how this mother managed to keep all of her kittens alive while living on the streets with little or no food.
