A kind commuter in Lima, Peru, stopped her car right away when she saw the adorable kitten, who was only a month old, in the middle of the highway.
The poor kitten was found by Lorena Castro on her way to Lima’s downtown area.
« ‘Stay in the car,’ he instructed.I will take care of it, so don’t worry.’
« I was about to get out of the car to pick her up when the motorcycle cop passed by, » Castro told El Comercio, a Peruvian newspaper.
She then made the decision to turn on her camera and take a picture of the amazing rescue.
After that, the officer shut down several lanes of traffic to stop a bus from hitting the cat.
When Castro got back, he wanted to give the police a reward for their efforts, but the officer turned him down and went about his business.
Castro has given the kitten the name Polly Tana in reference to the « Metropolitano » bus line where she was found.
Polly is currently healthy due to the kindness of a Peruvian police officer. So it was overdose of love. The most compassionate police officer stops traffic, in order to save the life of a tiny kitten,
