The majority of people picture dogs when they think of therapy animals. However, there are numerous animals, from small rodents to large horses, that can brighten people’s days.

Despite the fact that Dolly Star is not a typical therapy animal, she is having a significant impact on the people she visits.Through bovine therapy, the miniature cow travels to children’s hospitals, memory care facilities, and senior living communities to bring people joy, love, and comfort.

The Dolly Star Foundation was established by Karin Boyle, Dolly’s owner, to promote Dolly’s therapeutic work.
She explained in an interview with ABC 15 that she was motivated to establish the foundation after her father ended up in a memory care facility.

She said that her father, who had been a farmer for a long time, liked his cattle and that she thought other people in the area might like cattle as well.

Dolly’s diminutive size makes it much simpler to transport and conduct meet-and-greets.
The small cow is more than happy to provide it, and the facility’s residents can’t get enough of her.
