The world’s smallest horse lives in San Diego with his pony trainer and her three dogs and was rejected by his mother due to his small size.
Peabody, the young pony, was too small for his mother to care for him, so she abandoned him.The pony, who is six weeks old and weighs approximately 20 pounds, is significantly smaller than the typical pony’s size.
Peabody’s owner, Faith Smith, said that this pony was the world’s smallest miniature horse at his age.
Peabody behaves like a pet when she lives in her owner’s home.After the animal’s mother refused to nurse him, the vet offered to kill the animal’s previous owner, but Smith was able to save the animal.
Even though the small horse had some health issues, such as a problem with his jaw, the possibility of not being able to walk, and the possibility of being deaf and blind, Smith was certain that he would survive and deserved a better life.
After the adoption, Smith hired a van and drove to the country to get Peabody.
The miniature horse has had some successes since that day; his jaw is now aligned, his head has grown, he can see perfectly, and he walks.
