Jerry was a small, clumsy dog. He was very curious and bright. Wherever something interesting happened, he was there.
With his short little legs he was still a little clumsy, but he did not lack courage.
The Dog lived with his family on a large pear orchard. Something was always happening in the yard.
Large trucks were constantly moving back and forth.They gathered the fruits from the farm and then returned the empty boxes.
Empty boxes were piled high in the corners of the yard. You could really hide in it.
That day the little dog was especially bored. « I want to play with someone too, » he shouted, and cried to himself.
Suddenly he noticed a small green caterpillar. He crawled very slowly with a large tractor.There were lots of boxes of ripe pears. They smell temptingly good.
The caterpillar was small and very difficult to climb. But he was very hungry, the smell of pears magically captivated him.
Dog looked at the little caterpillar for a moment. Then he barked and called his owner that he had found a green caterpillar that was damaging the crop.
As we can see Jerry is a highly smart and bright animal which wanted to help his family with protecting the harvest.
